Rosemay was the postal name for the post office for the Rosemay Mine located in the western part of White Pine County. According to Helen Carlson,
Nevada Place Names, "The Official Register of 1899 lists a variant
Rosemary.
This is an elusive one! It is listed on the postal records with Joseph Meister as the postmaster from May 15, 1899 to July 31, 1900. The link on Topozone.com shows the locations of all White Pine County post offices except Rosemay.
The mail for Rosemay was sent to the nearby post office of Strawberry. Both of these place names elude this researcher!
